social media / design
@cafemomentum.pgh
I design and create content for Café Momentum Pittsburgh — a youth justice nonprofit + fine dining restaurant.
Brand storytelling comes into play in a unique way as I promote what’s new at our restaurant, while also promoting our amazing mission in exciting and empathetic ways.
So far I’ve organically increased social media audience growth (+294%), impressions (+52%), and post link clicks (+240%).
@film_pittsburgh
I designed and created content for Film Pittsburgh for 3 years. A typical post features film stills, event photos, reels with video content I shot, and/or graphics with digital collateral from Wall to Wall.
I organically increased Instagram followers (+93%), Twitter by (+146%), and Facebook by (+87%.)

I also designed in-house publicity materials like media and print ads, postcards, business cards, flyers, final reports (that are succinct AND aesthetically pleasing, believe it or not!), and much more.
@rootrisetherapy_la
As a freelancer for creative agency FZK, I designed an Instagram grid for a therapist who wanted to boost her social presence.
This design format is super functional and repeatable, but never gets old aesthetically. After creating it, all I had to do was find beautiful stock photos that fit the theme and use blog content or quotes the therapist provided.
I also edited and refined the copy for each caption—typically from blurbs the therapist wrote.
@kulavintage
I created digital collateral for Kula Vintage.
My designs were featured on their social media and also on their e-commerce shop.

@fittpittsburgh
I wrote captions for Fitt Pittsburgh’s Instagram that covered the top health and fitness headlines across the city.
I was also the contributing writer for Fitt Pittsburgh’s weekly newsletter. Check out the Writing tab to see an example.
@31stStStudios
A selection of social posts I created for 31st Street Studios’ Instagram and Twitter in 2018.
I also took the initiative to interview crew members for the CBS All-Access show One Dollar so our audience could learn more about what goes on behind-the-scenes of making their favorite Pittsburgh-filmed movies and TV shows. The interviews were featured on Facebook.
