@videoconsortium

As the current Communications Manager for Video Consortium, I design, write copy, and create content plans to promote our programming and events for documentary filmmakers and video journalists across the world, along with our podcast.

See my work in action on VC’s Instagram, which averages 115,000+ impressions a month.

    @cafemomentum.pgh

    As the Marketing Manager for Café Momentum Pittsburgh — a youth justice nonprofit + fine dining restaurant — I created content that coordinated with my strategic marketing plans.

    Brand storytelling comes into play in a unique way as I promote what’s new at the restaurant, while also promoting the amazing mission in exciting and empathetic ways.

    I organically increased social media audience growth (+294%), impressions (+52%), and post link clicks (+240%).

    @film_pittsburgh

    As the Marketing and Communications Manager for Film Pittsburgh, I designed and created content that coordinated with my strategic marketing plans. A typical post featured film stills, event photos, reels with video content I shot, and/or graphics with digital collateral from Wall to Wall.

    I organically increased Instagram followers (+93%), Twitter (+146%), and Facebook by (+87%.)

    I also designed in-house publicity materials like media and print ads, postcards, business cards, flyers, impact reports (that are succinct and aesthetically pleasing!), and much more.

    @rootrisetherapy_la

    I designed an Instagram templatized grid format for a therapist who wanted to boost her social presence, while freelancing for creative agency FZK.

    I also edited and refined the copy for each caption—typically from longer blobs the therapist created.

    @kulavintage

    I created digital collateral for Kula Vintage.

    My designs were featured on their social media and also on their e-commerce shop.

    @fittpittsburgh

    I wrote captions for Fitt Pittsburgh’s Instagram that covered the top health and fitness headlines across the city.

    I was also the contributing writer for Fitt Pittsburgh’s weekly newsletter. Check out the Writing tab to see an example.

    @31stStStudios

    A selection of social posts I created for 31st Street Studios’ Instagram and Twitter in 2018.

    I also took the initiative to interview crew members for the CBS All-Access show One Dollar so our audience could learn more about what goes on behind-the-scenes of making their favorite Pittsburgh-filmed movies and TV shows. The interviews were featured on Facebook.
